It was a weightlifting injury that originally sent me to
a chiropractor for care. It was then that I knew what my
new profession was going to be. I have been a chiropractor
since 1991. Chiropractic is excellent at resolving structural
issues of the spine and joints of the body. Chiropractic’s
aim is to restore normal function to the joints by realigning
subluxations ( minor malalignments of the joints). It is
the subluxations that ultimately create tendonitis, bursitis,
inflammation and degenerative arthritis. So the best way
to resolve these issues is to take care of the subluxations
causing them.
| Conditions often
helped with chiropractic care: |
- Neck pain
- Mid back pain
- Hip pain
- Plantar Fascitis
- Shoulder pain
- Allergies
- Sports injuries
|
- Low back pain
- Headaches
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Injury from automobile crash
- TMJ dysfunction
- Organ dysfunction
- Fibromyalgia
|
To treat these conditions, I use a variety of techniques
(in addition to the standard chiropractic techniques): Applied
Kinesiology, SacroOccipital technique, Advanced Biostructural
Correction, Acupuncture, Active Release technique, Neuroemotional
technique and nutritional counseling.
My background as a competitive, nationally qualified bodybuilder,
and being well versed in many sports makes me an ideal practitioner
to understand and deal with neuromusculoskeletal conditions,
especially sports injuries. I understand how all the muscles
work and how the muscles can affect the joints in adverse
ways.
