It was a weightlifting injury that originally sent me to a chiropractor for care. It was then that I knew what my profession was going to be. I have been a chiropractor since 1991. Chiropractic is excellent at resolving structural issues of the spine and joints of the body. Chiropractic’s aim is to restore normal function to the joints by realigning subluxations (minor misalignments of the joints). It is the subluxations that ultimately create tendonitis, bursitis, inflammation and degenerative arthritis.
I have a background in many sports, in addition to being a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a nationally competitive bodybuilder. This helps make me an ideal practitioner to understand and deal with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, especially sports injuries.
